- Watched more Dexter, I'm now halfway through Season 2
- Went to work, where alot of people decided that today was a good time to grab some stuff from the supermarket. UG... It was flat out for an hour and a half, nonstop action!
- Came home, fed the ginger beer 'plant'. Only a couple more days til the next step in the recipe!
- Joined Brown Owls, a Melbourne based crafty chatty group that meets every 3 weeks. Should be fun!
- Missed a exec meeting at Lasseters... hope it went well.
- Invited my non-cousin William to Surfmoot. He seems interested. He should do, it's a lot of fun!
- Flopped, because I was so tired from work!

A literary exercise in third person.
Today, gentle readers, we return to the exciting life of the rare and lovely Jobie.
Today, being Sunday, Jobie had the use of a car, and so after polishing off some scratch marks that she had caused a few months ago, she set out for the Gordon's house. She found that travelling on Eastlink, towards Dandenong, was busier that she'd seen it before, but concluded that because the weather was so nice (hardly any clouds) they must all be on their way to the beach. She arrived to find the Gordon still asleep and had to use the spare key to let her self in. After an episode of Sarah Jane Adventures (I like it, so there!), a trip to a bakery, and lunch was had. Then the Jobie and the Gordon wondered around the market that was there and looked at all the knitted, beaded and pretty things. They were waylaid by a chatty old lady at one of the stalls, but escaped after learning about the difficulties she had had this morning with the placement of her stall and how her usual stall partner was visiting her sister. Very informative and useful information. Things were looked at, tried on, and eventually discarded as overpriced and easy enough to do oneself.
After realising the time (the Jobie had work at 3) they went back to the Gordon's house and parted ways.
Work was worked, ginger beer plants were fed (day 4), and dinner was had.
Today was an exciting day for Jobie's ginger beer plant, it's started to bubble! That means it's fermenting and not just sitting there getting more sugary and gingery everyday. What a good little plant!

Cuteness and other things about today
There's a set back in making the lovely woollen beret from my previous post. I went to Sylph this morning and couldn't find any 50/50 Merino/Silk blends of wool, I'll have to try Spotlight or Lincraft. They'll probably have a larger range anyway, even if some are of lower quality. Sylph wasn't a waste of time though, I did manage to buy some more wool for my light and dark blue many granny square blanket. It's a good travelling project, because I can generally finish a couple on the bus ride to work, whereas the blue and gray blanket needs to have a stitch holder put in it if I want to take it anywhere without loosing stitches.
Mum and I also went to the Farmers Market today. It's a new one, so it's still a bit small but there were about 10 or so stalls there with some nice things. No honey though. I have a weakness for regional honey. When we went to Tassie a couple of years ago there was a honey farm at one stop, complete with a little shop, and the things you could buy there... everything made of honey! There were some good ones when we went to Adelaide too... yum!
Anyway, we bought some spiced gouda, two loaves of bread (one pumpernickel, and something else...), a couple kilos of apples (for $5!), a jar of indian curry sauce, and some jars of preserves (strawberry and vanilla jam, chili coriander relish, and pickled eggplant). Good healthy stuff, and the turnout today promises that the market will only get bigger and better! There was also a pig! A lovely big hairy pig about the same size and colouring as Pigby from Pushing Daisies. Very cute!
I also showed mum what a lolcat was, she of course complained about the spelling, but still found them very amusing, especially this one. She's going to show it to the Year 7 Science teachers at school, they're doing light and sound at the moment, so it's perfect for teaching purposes :D.

- Looked up driving instructors, am now comparing prices
- Looked at the confusing microsoft accreditation website, there's no prices or times on it at all!
- Thought about taking photos of my WIPs, but decided the light wasn't good enough. Y'all can wait.
- Organised to have lunch with Gordon tomorrow.
- Did a couple of rows on the blue/grey granny square blanket. Photos soon, I want to document this thing, otherwise I'll end up thinking I've never gotten anywhere with it.
